I learned 2 pretty weird facts today from a student in my class, which read them in a magazine on a plane. That just makes it even stranger.
OKAY, first: People who lose there wallets and have pictures of there kids as baby's in them have an 88% chance they will be returned. The people who don't have pictures of their kids have, I think a 47% chance? maybe it's 43... not sure.
notha fact: people who right down the things they are grateful for each day have a 10% chance of sleeping better.
I tend to rant about a lot of bad things in life... that would probably explain my 6 hours of sleep each night (exaggeration, (which I tend to do often) it's usually 8)
You know what song I really like? Burn it to the ground by Nickelback. It's good. :)
Oh, our school has also started cross country. fun. Well, actually, it is, or else I wouldn't have joined. No, wait. I wouldn't have joined if I couldn't run, but I can. I already do run on my own time and play hockey (for and hour and a half every Tuesday and Thursday) then after each practice I have an hour of dry land (fitness training, for example Tuesday I ran stairs and did probably over 50 push ups and 100 sit ups, super mans, leg lifts, more push ups etc.)
The only reason I am ranting about this is I hate the training because I already know and can run the distance. NOT to be cocky :)
but still, you that feeling you get when you know what you're doing, and people explain it to you like you don't? It's the feeling I get. Besides that awesome feeling of burning some calories and getting your energy back from your 6 (i mean 8) hours of sleep.
speaking of which... I'm going to go take a nap before my practice tonight. The last time I did that I felt great... and I definitely need some sleep.
Later!
